Pick a goal. Get led to the finish.

No tax vocabulary required. Choose what you want to do, and the assistant guides you screen by screen on the real Hometax site.

STEP 01

Choose your goal

File VAT, file income tax (종합소득세), open a business, or get a certificate — pick one and we hold the thread.

STEP 02

Scan your screen

One tap reads your current Hometax page, explains what it is, and draws numbered highlights on exactly what to click.

STEP 03

Move step by step

Press Next to advance. Ask anything about the current step in your own words. You click every button yourself.

02

Built for the Korean-only interface.

Hometax is hard even for Koreans. For a newcomer it's a wall of unfamiliar terms. This turns it into a guided conversation.

🔎

Scan the screen

Vision reads your page and points to the next thing to click with numbered on-screen callouts.

🌐

Translate the page

Overlay every Korean label with your language — the whole Hometax page, in one tap.

🎯

Goal-guided flow

It remembers your goal and leads you through the milestones, keeping you on track.

🗣️

11 languages

Ask in your own words. Korean tax terms stay in parentheses so you can match them on screen.

📅

Deadlines & basics

Who files what and when — income tax in May, VAT in Jan/Jul — always one tap away.

Verified vs general

Every answer is honestly labelled: a verified step on curated screens, or general help elsewhere.

03

Seasonal, not a subscription.

Taxes are seasonal, so pay for them that way. Start free; unlock unlimited when you sit down to file.

The line we don't cross
We explain and point. We never file your taxes for you.

HomeTaxHelper is an educational guide. It explains what fields mean and where to find them, and flags deductions worth checking. It never calculates your final tax, submits anything for you, or replaces a licensed tax accountant (세무사). You decide and click everything yourself — which keeps us on the education side of Korea's 세무사법.

Questions, answered.

Do you file my taxes for me?
No. HomeTaxHelper explains each screen and shows where to click. You review and submit everything yourself — computing or filing your tax would make us a tax agent (세무대리) under Korean law, which we deliberately avoid.
Is my data safe?
The extension reads your current Hometax screen only when you tap Scan, to explain it. We don't store your tax figures, and personal numbers are never kept.
Which taxes does it cover?
The common ones for freelancers and sole proprietors: comprehensive income tax (종합소득세, filed in May) and VAT (부가가치세, Jan/Jul). It also helps with business registration (사업자등록) and certificates (증명서).
Do I need a Korean card to pay?
You can pay with Korean cards and local methods, or an international card. Payments are processed securely by Toss Payments.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy below. In short, an unused pass can be refunded within 7 days; credit packs are refundable for the unused portion.
